Universally known for his now-legendary rendition of Ricky Martin's "She Bangs" on the Fox "American Idol" auditions, Hung became an overnight pop culture phenomenon. Since that time, Hung has become one of the most sought-after performers in the world. He was at the Jingle Ball I went to on Friday. I was hoping he'd be on first so I could get there late and not have to experience him, but it was worth a laugh... I hadn't really seen him or heard him since I don't watch much tv... He sang She Bangs, Deck the Halls and O Come All Ye Faithfull.

He was on Howard Stern today, and he didn't want to answer any questions about sex (Thanks Mom for booking me on Howard Stern!!) or project any sexual type of image (like "hung" puns). They asked him what he thinks "she bangs" means. Poor guy. Does he know he's a joke? I hope so, or it will be a rough day when he finds out.

I knew he wouldn't answe any questions and I think that's what made it funny as hell. Say what you will, but that guy is real! You could tell that Howard thought it was a great interview. I mean, there are some people that go on the show and don't spill and it sucks but his not saying anything was almost more entertaining than him being honest. Does that make sense? RIght before Hung left, it was funny as hell when Howard started "hitting" on him. It was the craziest thing I've ever heard.

"Does he know he's a joke?" He's joking all the way to the bank and he's said that he is "taking a break" from school...not leaving! He has to know. He can't be that sheltered. I say a clip of him singing "We Are the Champions" and he was dressed as Freddy Mercury in this clown outfit thing. The guy isn't going to say "Yeah, I know I suck.". He's playing it smart with the whole "I do my best thing" but he doesn't seem phoney. Still, I ain't buying that Cd!

I had a party recently and played "She Bangs" and it went over very well. His version of Hotel California is priceless.
