I agree, the video was kinda ghetto. I think that if the song is a hit, it may put 0(+> somewhat back in the mainstream. The live portion of the video was kinda dope though. The Saturday show at the Kodak...GONNA BE OFF THE HOOK !!!!!

I must say everyone on the net seems to be taking my Prince version lately. There is probably lots of fans that will discover the old Prince because of this song. That can't be bad. Remember when it used to cost "one lousy dime" to call someone and you HAD to use a payphone?! Maybe she should change the song to "How Come You Don't 2 WAY me... Anymore?"

I saw this video yesterday. Caught the last part of it.

It seemed kind of "poppish" almost like Michael Jackson's Pepsi Commercial from back in the day.

The audience seemed too "prepped" like they were being directed, even the camera shots seemed kinda scripted.

Alicia is a pretty gurl, no doubt. She has her own look that is attractive, but whoever is handling her clothes, styling, etc., it's not really "locked-on" yet I think. It seems they have an idea of how she should be dressed, but it could be much better to me, to really complement her as a complete package artist. But hey she's still young.

I agree about the NY baseball cap! She doesn't need it, at least worn like that! She can wear one if she wants, but not in "Yo-Boy" style! But then again, she is from New York, so she can wear it all day long if she wants. lol. She is a very attractive young lady tho, she's sharp.

The video runs like it was produced by a TV commercial producer. But then again as its been stated before in PBS' 'Frontline's Merchants of Cool' piece, aren't all videos just that? A lil comercial for the album?!

They will continue to market her to the hip-hop generation. That is afterall her age group, demo and market they will pursue with her 1st even tho they go after the older fans to for her-they will not let that money potential slip thru their fingers in the process!

alicia is so overrated, its untrue. she is undeniably beautiful but looks do not a talent make. she has a long way to go before she can justify all the ridiculously overblown accolades that have been given to her.
