"(b)We focused on getting great songs and used a lot of live instruments and live singing," says Rooney, who is serving as co-executive producer. He gives credit to veteran engineer Bruce Swedien. "Bruce recorded everything the old-fashioned way. (c)It was really made no differently from the way that Michael Jackson made Thriller," Rooney says, except for the state-of-the-art technology used for the editing and mixing. The first single, Get Right, is a dance-club-friendly track with a saxophone hook."

(a) This is an incredible change of pace for Lopez, who has never before collaborated with Fat Joe, Fabolous or Marc Anthony.

As for pitch correction.. I think these singers are made to sing each line over and over until the engineers manage to record the rare 8% chance that the pitches are hit.
