download"DO YOU THINK OF ME" Mariah Carey outtake from MUSIC BOX http://s9.yousendit.com/d...FF8BCA38DC
This track was recorded during the sessions for Mariah's 93 album "Music Box" This is probably on my favourite unreleased Mariah tracks it was produced by Mariah & Walter Affansief, It's a mid tempo POP ballad. It's shame Mariah and Walter have still not worked things out and Mariah still refuses to work with him, he co produced all her albums from her dubut to Butterfly and had one track on "Glitter" "Lead the way" (which was an outtake from Butterfly) Mariah thinks he had made her music too "adult contemporary" and "Schmatzy" they basically fell out over the recording and urban sound of the "Butterfly" album . . I used to think he was corny too, but it turns out their collaborations have a WAY longer shelf life.

Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Walter Afanasieff was one the producers that Tommy Mottola handpicked to work with Mariah from the time she first started out with Sony Music. She ditched him after she got her divorce from Tommy because she did not want to associate herself with anyone related to or working for Tommy, plus she wanted to go into a more hip hop direction that she had first done on "Daydream". Of course, Randy Jackson (of American Idol fame) was one of the associate prodcuers she has worked with from the beginning of her career and she still works with him today.

Well that's what she should be doing now because as sad as I have 2 say this...Im enjoying her pop songs but they dont have no chart power. Prince did it, Madonna did it. Janet..Mariah...ya'll gonna have 2 learn. But Im totally feelin "Say SOmething" I love the vocal productiona dn the music is top notch. But "Tonight" with Nelly..was she didnt have 2 do that..and I hope she left that off the record...although I was still greatful to have and hear it. I have 2 hear this song, I hope its good. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.
