I JUST RECENTLY PULLED THIS SONG OUT OF MY CD COLLECTION AND I MUST SAY THAT "IT ROCKS!" IT BROUGHT ME BACK TO THE WAY MUSIC USED TO BE. IT IS ORIGINAL, CLEVERLY INVENTIVE, BEAUTIFULLY WRITTEN AND VOCALLY SPECTACULAR. FREDDY MERCURY WILL ALWAYS BE MISSED BECAUSE HE NEVER WAS AFRAID TO TAKE MUSIC TO THE NEXT LEVEL WHICH IS GREATLY EVIDENT IN THIS MASTERPIECE OF COMPOSITION. OKAY, I'M DONE.

Eric was Queen's promoter back in the very early days, and Freddie became quite infactuated with the poor fellow!

He titled the song 'Killer Queen' because Eric had no interest in Freddie whatsoever, and Freddie would feign a broken heart every time he entered the room

Queen had some badass tunes. I remember being so surprised when I was in college that so many brothers I knew liked them.There was so much diversity in musical tastes that it really blew me away and taught me alot.

Anyway they dropped another one bites the dust in the rotation the other night and it made me remember how back in the day they would play funky songs by white artists on the "soul" stations.
