Chemical Brothers & Q-Tip "Galvinize" I heard this yesterday evening on the radio whilst I was drivin home in my car and it rocked the proverbial pussy off a me. Damn it that was a funky jam. I'd already ditched the hope of the chemicals making one of the type of records they used to ever again. But this, oh boy, this sounded wicked and it went on and on.. It was great to hear Q-Tip adding such a strong vocal performance once again. I'd started to miss him too. I can't wait for their new album now. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Yeap, I've heard this a good few times now, but I just can't seem to make up my mind about this track. It has two artistic entities that I have great respect for but there's something missing and I think it's on the part of Q-Tip I'm a fan of Tribe and all but I just think Q-Tip lacks the depth in this collaboration. Then again, it could be on the part of the Chemical Bros. not utilizing/maximizing Tip's unique rap flow. Don't get me wrong, I don't mean to sound to harsh, as I wouldn't tune off if the track was on but there's just a little sumfin' which doesn't quite hit the spot. It should be a floor filler at dance nights though, it's Chemical Brothers, c'mon! p.s. The forthcoming album is called "Push The button", as chorused in 'Galvinize' "..My work is personal, I'm a working person, I put in work, I work with purpose.."
