Is it me or r these 2 songs VERY similar? I think "one more chance" came out in 1984 (off jacksons "vivtory" album) and Phils single blew up huge in 1985, so infact, the jacksons song (or randy's should I say) musta inspired Phils huge hit! I love both songs, but "one more chance" deserved to be a singe and Phils "one more night" porves this!


I really think maybe Phil mighta copied it a bit? As far fetched as it seems, is is possible?

Who agrees/disagrees and who likes both tracks?

I prefer "one more chance" by the jacksons. It mactually makes me cry a little sometimes. It is sung so well too.....the middle 8 is gorgeous too and the falsetto suits it so well.....the mega corny "i love you" spoken line at the end is irritating though, but can get past that! Phils "one more night" is a very good song too though. And easily one of his best

And I like Janet's cover of "One More Chance". The Jacksons version ain't bad either. But I am not a fan of Phil's solo work.

"one more night" is a track that most people would love to hate as it is Phil Collins but u should admit, it ain't that bad.....
