Anxiety said: 2. at least one of the brian eno ambient reissues Are the ambient albums being reissued? First I've heard of it - I know his first four solo albums have been out for some time now. I've picked up Before and After Science and Taking Tiger Mountain. I have to get the other two at some point, though it's not high on my list of priorities. I guess I have to get Pavement's Crooked Rain deluxe edition as well... and...errrr...mayyybeee that new Ravonettes. I know they're probably just a cheap Jesus and Mary Chain or Spacemen 3 clone, but I thought their last album was good, mindless fun.

Yeesh, this is the second time I've bought an album just to have a reissue come out shortly afterwards. I picked up Music for Airports about 1/2 a year ago. Mind you, I paid very little for it, so I'm not as remorseful about this one. I paid through the nose for my copy of Can's Monster Movie, only to find out about two weeks later that the first four albums were getting the reissue treatment. Now that left a bitter taste in my mouth... [Edited 11/29/04 20:21pm]

Pet Shop Boys- New Album TBA
Madonna- New Album TBA Ozzy Osbourne - Bible of Ozz Rumoured new releaes I found on a PSB forum. The only one I'd put money on actually being released for sure in 2005 is the Ozzy album. There are many more listed but I'm not going to post something I found on one forum to another forum. It's like a rumour based on another rumour! Sadly, nothing new listed for Bowie next year....it seems like everyone has something coming out next year (in many cases, at least two things coming out) [Edited 11/29/04 20:39pm]

I'm looking forward to that, too. I really never gave "Release" much of a chance but I did like the bonus disc. It has some songs from their play as well as a remake of "Break 4 Love", remixes of "Home and Dry", which is a very good song, among other things. Anyway, if "Flamboyant" and "Miracles" are any indication of what the album will sound like, I'll be getting it ASAP even if I have to buy it as an import right away.
