Favourite Bond Theme Song Updated!

Okay, here’s the deal. The other thread was fun, but I got a bit carried away when trying to count who had actually WON. Loads of people could not choose. Well, fat luck! You have to! That is what the thread is all about. JUST ONE!

So, we are picking our favourite Bond Theme. For your convenience; The Bond movie title (if it is the same as the song title I just typed it once), then the song title, then the artist, then the year of release AND a link to the actual song, provided by http://www.bondmovies.net/
Then I also colour-coded the songs, according to Bond actors, just for fun, cuz I was extremely bored. Yes, Timothy Dalton got the sissy colour.
And no, Casino Royale is NO real Bond movie.

Sean Connery
George Lazenby
Roger Moore
Timothy Dalton
Pierce Brosnan

I pick Goldeneye, because the movie revitalised a lame franchise and the song just BREATHES Bond.

good comment, it did reenergize it and I like the movie alot.....but Tim's 2 films stick out and r often forgotten (like George Lazenby) which seems unfair to me..I think the more harder edged, grittier, higher rated "license" was a great step in the right direction, but i guess it bombed which was a real shame!

Bronsnon (at first) did bring back the sex and charm though most defintely!

And the 2 ladies were so fine in "license" and the villian was one of the best too.....

Common. Bond should be FUN. Dalton made the mistake by wanting to give Bond an edge. Bond does not need an edge. He needs a foxy lady and kewl villains. I cannot remember ONE Bond lady from the Dalton's movies. But Xenia Onatop....no one beat her after that.

I agree on the latest Bond's being more something of a commercial for new watches, cars and gadgets....

I just preferred it darker, but that is pure preferance so fair enough.....I do like the Moore's though, but I cannot watch 'em all the way through no more as they r too daft!

I just thought Dalton tried something different, which they all have infact! And that difference was refreshing from the dirge of Moore.....Bronsen is a mix up of connery, Dalton, moore etc.....particually connery i guess....shame that after "tommorow nevr dies" that the movies sucked!

I also love 80's US movieslike "cobra" "roadhouse" "Rambo" "streets of fire" etc.....so "license" is perfect as it is so very different to "a view to a kill" which seemed dated to me!

I am gonna miss Bronson as Bond. I think he was the best since Connery, who will forver be King Bond. Dalton was ok...better than Moore, but not near as good as Bronson and miles away from Connery.

I always liked Live and Let Die the most. View to a Kill was pretty good too.

Im in definate agreement with you on that one. Timothy Dalton was no bullshit. The deadly bond and the one who most resembled (in every sence of the word) Ian Flemmings original character.

Hehehe. I am not rating Brosnan. I was correcting you. My Bond of choice is Connery.
