Debbie Harry
Chrissie Hynde
Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac
Gwen Stefani
Pink (more of the rock sound instead of the R&B style she started with)
Madonna
Prince
Terri Nunn of Berlin
Duran Duran
Depeche Mode
Sarah McLachlan
Sheryl Crow
Britney Spears (if I have to justify this choice, I'd say her songs get me dancing)
Annie Lennox

I want a strong voice, mixed with an '80s-influenced sound.

Some sort of trashy, punk-disco hybrid. I would want to rock, but still make people dance too. Imagine The Toilet Boys with club remixes. That would be awesome.

I would like to be a combination of Bjork and Sade vocally, Duran Duran and Nine Inch Nails musically. A little bit of Sting here, a little bit of Madonna there... My profile lists most of my musical influences... Like one song I have has a chant at the end that was inspired by My Wild Love by The Doors.

probably like the band eels with a naughty twist of the cramps thrown in here and there and of course some obtuse bowie/eno moments and the occasional quirky funky talking heads influence. but mainly eels, because i think their lyrics are brilliant and their music is warm and challenging at the same time.

Bono. For his voice and his amazing charity work. No other artist can match him on that level.

The sound that I'm most insanely jealous of is Joy Division's. It just cuts straight to my core. The taut drums, the high melodic bass, the blocky chunks of guitar, the minimalist production, the tension, the release. If I could've invented anything, it would be their sound.

My creative thought process is probably most similar to Bjork's. Abstract, visceral and emotional.

If I could be someone else that I'm not, it'd be David Bowie. I mean, do I have to explain?

That said, I don't really want to sound like anybody. As inspired and intrigued as I am by my favorite music, I work really hard at creating my own space and style. I think it's really important as an artist to distill your influences and find your own thing.

I'd want to have the eastern influence mixed with rock feel that "The Tea Party" does...

...actually this is quite a hard question to answer isn't it? lol

I guess if you're asking who's voice I'd like to sound like - for a male voice I'd have to say Jeff Martin from The Tea Party - without a doubt the best male voice today

For a female voice I'd have to say Christina Aguelira (sorry if I didn't spell it right redface ) mixed with the lead singer of Aussie band "George"...
