The other day I was watching Michael Jackson's "Bad" video and the "Smooth Criminal" video and it seems that he wanted to get rid of his clean image and create a rebel persona in his character and music.

On the "Dangerous" album after hearing the song "Heal the World", it's like Michael see himself or wants to be a savior for sick children.

Why did Michael change back to his clean image when he wanted to get rid of it?

Because he realized people were laughing at his "punk" persona in the Bad video, and it wasn't gonna pan out for him.

ok i felt that when he came out with bad he was really trying 2 hit on the rock arena and it really wasnt working in my opinion.but around the dangerous period mike did try 2 be the worls savior and its damaging him right now so mike should just be mike

People make fun of Michael trying to be bad or whatever in the Bad video, but I don't get it. I mean, he had been using those angry facial expressions while singing since 1983. Plus, it's not like he is Michael Jackson in the video. He is playing a character.

Michael takes this to extremes, being not only loved, but downright glorified by the media, only to turn his face into a plastic ghostly self-hating shadow of it’s former self, and the scandals surrounding him run so deep, even if he where vindicated, it’s over for him.

Prince may have switched gears several times, and contradicted himself, but at least he steered clear of felony charges. Michael’s music lately is a reflection of his perverse and childlike fantasies unchecked by quality control, and allowed to speckle each album he releases.

I disagree on some level.....some of the tracks off "invincable" r just very good pop songs, but u say "speckle each album" so I c ur point....."the lost children" demonstrates this.....

Micheal really went to copy "thiller" with "bad" (to an extent), then he tried to get "black" again with some of "dangerous".....but he is so complicated that we could go on forever trying to guess!


I like his look in "bad", I think its suits him.....and even better is "the way u make me feel"! that is a authentic looking video (though not realistic i know).....and yes the Mike in "the way....." represents his alter ego of ladies man Mike.....plus Micheal hit a nerve with people like me who wishes they could pull a hot bird with some classy, sexy dancing.....

"dirty diana" is his attempt to cash in on hair bands i reckon! it workd too.....

MJ started out his successful solo career at the hands of Quincy Jones who brought Michael to absolute starsdom and many female fans who took delight in a fine looking young black man, with sexy dance moves and a beautiful singing voices. THe ladies got wet very easily





After this MJ had at least one nose job done and began his second phase of metamorphosis. THRILLER. MJ was on top of the world, ladies still loved him, however kept their distance after hearing of his relationship with Billie Jean and how he screwed her over and denied the child. His sudo masturbation song "Beat it" was looked down upon by parents who knew what MJ was up to. The video for "Thriller" showed young viewers a cool look at MJ's dancing move, and moves on a young lady as he stalked her down the street singing about the boogie man. The church got involved with this demon-esque video saying how it went against the laws of Christ. The vegetarian community called MJ a traitor for being seen squeezing a baby tiger in a picture and used as a prop for his fame!






Now MJ was really stirring the shit up. His face was looking really fucked up and his skin tone was reallying lightening. But kids still loved him. With chains spikes and leather MJ was getting kinky, He also did the unthinkable, he grabbed his crotch. Parents were outraged as they cauth their children grabbing themselves in the imitation of MJ. They were just as outraged with "the way you make me feel" video as he stocked a young woman down the street, into the backseat of a car. MTV was forced to edit the scene of MJ touching the young girl in unthinkable places in the backseat of the car. After the video shoot the girl was seen in a mental institution where she can't speak of he incident with MJ. Pissed of what people thought, MJ created a video for "leave me alone" with footage of his dream woman, liz taylor in her many different phases. Around this period MJ also made a movie "Moonwalke" where he was starting to show his love for children a little too much.







Now MJ was pasty white, people questioned his relationship with the black community. However, Dangerous proved to be a success, with only 1 #1 hit, Black or White. THe video caused outrage as MJ, disguised as a panther, sneaks into the ghetto to masturbate. This time, his masturbation antics went too far and parents protested outside Neverland ranch. He also made an appearance on Opera because Cher had a hair appointment that day and needed someone to fill in. People were beginning to think MJ was gay.

Now MJ was in deep shit. He got caught red handed fiddling a young boy. MJ's mask was ripped off and any of the ladies who loved MJ had run away. He wasnt sexy anymore. The lawsuit was settled for millions of dollars. People were disguisted.





After the settlement, MJ quickly released on 2 disc set called HIStory and went on tour. Everyone who went to this tour were older because people under 18 weren't allowed to purchase tickets. MJ ended the tour early because he couldnt perform without having "the children's insightful energy"

The pope was deeply upset that people were worshipping and crying over the statue of MJ used to promote HIStory, as they were worshipping a false god.

The song "little susie" was voted most controversial song of the year as it dealt with a little girl who was raped and murdered. After discovering this knowledge, HIStory was to be purchased by people over the age of 18. MJ had lost his child fans.








Time went by and MJ finally made it in the news again! He got an invitation from his friend Marilyn Manson to join him in the church of Satan, MJ accepted and was so intrigued that he created "Blood on the Dance Floor" and "Ghosts."






MJ went into the studio for the next 4-5 years, waiting to shock fans with the millenium's new Thriller. in 2001 people laughed as MJ released Invincible. They laughed even harder when they found out it came in 5 collectible colors. It did not sell well as according to plan so MJ had to get a new nose to cheer him up. The song "the lost children" made people gasp as MJ sang with a choir of young children. Police got involved and asked the children what happened during the recording of the album. A young girl claimed, MJ was playing with her ponytail, as a result MJ had a secret payment made to the family of $2 000 000
MJ was getting broke, and he had just had 20 new ponies added to his ranch with no way to feed them.





MJ was really broke, so as a desperate attempt at cash he ran for the goods releasing all his hits again in #1s. Again, with cheap marketing schemes, giving people the choice of 4 different covers. This cd was given out to students at public schools with the purchase of a SPAM sandwich in the cafeteria.









Well MJ screwed up again, 10 years later after the first allegation, he was once again of mollesting a young boy, happening to be a cancer patient. He was forced to drink MJ's Jesus juice and nibble on his mystery meat





As of recent we have no clue where this case is going, but MJ suprised us again this XMAS with a box set of his greatest hits throught his wild career, Enjoy and watch out for any new wild MJ adventures.

It is true that I noticed him changed a little - I´d say he has become more confident and doesn´t care anymore about being sweet all the time. He´s learned to fight and became more open I guess, but I don´t see that as a change of image, but rather as a change of his persona.


Mike was just playing characters. I´d say that for example Xtina is the one who changed completely, but not Michael.

Or would you ever say guys that some acter has changed his or her image after playing in different kinds of movies? No. You know they were just playing characters. I think we should look at musicians the same way, cause it is much more about entertainment than pure music and therefore they are playing characters as well.

I read on MJ Source that Jacko is putting out another repackaging of his hits in 2005 and there's also a new song on there called "Hershey Walls" which is about Macaulay Culkin.
