I don't know where else, but here in Holland Jamie Cullum is being hyped as the new face of contemporary jazz. Again, jazz-muzic is being used as a tool for selling records. What I have heard, Cullum's music is very shallow with a soft jazzy-touch. The guy is being portraited as a sex-symbol and it is cool to like jazz again, as long as it's jazzy Jamie Cullum. His cover of 'Everlasting Love' bores me to death. Am I alone with this?

Norah Jones is cool !!

I like his album 21 something very much, he's got a great voice, and brings back jazz to top 40 listeners!!
I agree on his cover of everlasting love, don'tlike it either, but I think he's ok!
