The ignorance of Jazz (the music and its historical significance) is quite a shame.
This celebrated (everywhere but here) American art form they have such a direct lineage to. Very similar to how the link to R&R was broken by shunning artists like Chuck Berry and Little Richard initially and eventually Hendrix to a great extent.

Hopefully they'll see through the current mainstream musical fakery being perpetrated.
