Gwen's L.A.M.B is the album

Madonna needed to make next. Gwen beat her to the punch.

LOVE this record. It's lean (no filler) and kaleidoscopic. Finally I can say there's a pop record I can actually listen to this year.

i need to pick this up tomorrow. i've heard the whole record and, while it doesn't quite live up to all the hype, its still a fun goofy pop record that has its heart in the 80's. seems like a perfect pop record!

Sally, your slutty ass simply MUST get this album. Harajuku Girls is my latest drug, and iss ALLL good.

Love ya Sal. wink

Oh, and your description of the record is perfect. Once I got over my initial semi-disappointment, I can enjoy it for what it is...for me it's like the first Madonna album since Bedtime Stories. 'Cept I like it a bit better than Bedtime Stories. Don't worry, I sho ain't gonna go far enough as to say it's better than Erotica, oh no!! That would be sacrilege.

I went nuts for this album when I first got, it even made my top 10 all time fav for 48 hrs, but then I realised there is no lyrical substance? How many times can u name drop Vivenne Westwood? still top 5 of 2004! I'm going to get my groove on to it

i really liked it at first but after a few repeated listens it doesn't hold up.

in a couple years it'll sound dated...
You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

99.9% of music does. Doesn't mean it's bad.

Wendy and Lisa on "The real Thing"

I like the CD, full of surprises, I'm sure I'll get sick of it like the Outkast cd, but what can ya do. Prince is one of the few artists whose cd's can hold up over many listens because there's so much to listen to, and the melodies are timless. If anything Gwen and Outkast are mssing classic melodies on their stuff.
