What is THE definitive Christmas song?

Now that Thanksgiving is here and gone, time to turn our attention to the great Christmas experience. What ONE song totally gets you in the Christmas spirit and brightens your joy (or makes you sad) when you hear it (no matter how many countless times you hear it)

Nat King Cole -The Christmas Song
The Temptations- Silent Night
Stevie Wonder- Ave Maria
Ray Charles- The Spirit of Christmas
The Jackson 5- Give Love on Christmas Day
Luther Vandross- Every Year, Every Christmas
Prince - Another Lonely Christmas
Vince Guaraldi Trio- Christmas Time is Here (AKA Charlie Brown Christmas Song)
you look better on your facebook page than you do in person hmph!

well, personally i love Judy Garland's "Have yourself a merry little Christmas", because i love Christmas songs which have something sad about them.

Hence, i also love Merry Xmas (War is Over)

The classic for me, though, is Silent Night.

O' Holy night is my all time fave. sigh Ok I'll admit to liking Christina Aguleria's version. There. I've said it.

I also like "Soul Holiday" by sound of blackness.

And "let it snow"-by boyz to men

I guess I like all the recent holiday R&B songs.

Yup, you can guess that I'll be playing the Laface family christmas album this year AGAIN...lol
Thank You San Alejo for getting rid of my enemies. :-0

Player's Ball-outkast (little known fact was that it was written for a christmas compilation album and it's lyrical subject is about how christmas has little meaning in the ghetto).

Nat King Cole's 'The Christmas Song'. My dad would play that album every holiday. Man, that brings back fond memories.

Guys, guys - you're missing the obvious one

A Fairytale of New York - Pogues & Kirsty MacColl

One of the very few Xmas songs actually considered to be a good song in its own right.
