Those American Idol people really have no imagination with their record covers, do they? Do you think the next one will feature a HEADSHOT?

it's not surprising, though. With these kids, it's ALL about their image. Their faces must be plastered all over the place so people can be reminded who they are. I spose they could try and mix it up though and do a FULL body shot.

Ruben Studdard Hospitalized
Former American Idol champ Ruben Studdard, who was in the midst of a promotional blitz for his new inspirational album 'I Need an Angel,' was hospitalized Monday night for exhaustion in his Alabama hometown. The 26-year-old "will likely remain in the hospital through the end of the week,” said Liz Morentin of J Records. “All promotion for his new album this week has been canceled.” Morentin said he went to the hospital on his own after feeling sick for the past two weeks. He recently opted out of a planned, televised diet/exercise plan to have been filmed by the syndicated entertainment news strip Extra, choosing instead to exercise on his own. Meanwhile 'I Need an Angel,' released Tuesday, Studdard's follow-up to last year's 'Soulful,' which sold over 1 million copies. Speaking recently to EUR’s Lee Bailey about the album, the singer said the entertainment business can be a grind, but tolerable nonetheless. “To me, I’ve never wanted to do anything else with my life,” Ruben said. “So being able to wake up everyday and not punch in a clock and have to answer to anybody, and singing and performing and making people happy on a regular basis is something that I’ve always wanted to do, so it’s nothing but a thrill for me everyday.”

i'd prefer it to depict a shot in the head "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later, every asshole gets one."

not a flattering picture of Kelly. I do like that song BREAKAWAY...does she write/co-write any of her songs? Let the rain come down...17 days....

Looks like the same people who styled Mary J Blige's "NO MORE DRAMA" album cover (The original)

They have no imagination in music either. Andy is a four letter word.

not a flattering picture of Kelly. I do like that song BREAKAWAY...does she write/co-write any of her songs? It just doesn't look like her. At first I thought that the site I was looking at mixed up the cover with some Japanese pop album. Of all the American Idols, Kelly seems like the most cool and her music isn't terrible.I'm glad to hear she is songwriting. I kind of dig Fantasia's new song as well.
