Mariah Carey - Make It Happen

I think this is her best song. I love everything about it, her vocals (dead on!), the groove -- everything. Played it today and it still sounds great. Has a nice early '90s dance/club sound.

Give it up for this track.

This is definitely one of Mariah's best tracks, although "Can't Let Go" is her absolute best, I think.

That whole period she produced quality material.

Thinking of her MTV Unplugged with Trey Lorenz.

I love her Unplugged album. I always have a hard time picking a fav. song from anybody....but "I Don't Wanna Cry" is one of my favorites from her. smile

One of my fav Mariah tracks too. It's one of those feel good tracks that don't sound cheap. Love the video too. And the C&C mix. Damn. Luv it all.

But as yall said: that whole period was increadible. I remeber back then I thought she'd be a jazz singer one day. She had that sharpness in the eye. Intellectual appeal if you know what I mean. For me this was an image : univeristy chick does hits. It changed after 92.

By the way check out my tracks at www.soundclick.com/shcool

She was sooooo beautiful and natural back than! I really MISS the old Mariah! Emotions was her last great album!

A song like this makes me long for the old Mariah. It's one of my favorite Mariah songs. This was her at her VERY best. I truely miss that from her.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Me too. Everything went downhill after that (except maybe the Christmas album, which I liked, strangely)

When I see old footage of Mariah singing live, I'm blown away. She definitely has the chops. I wish somehow that would return. But I'll still hold out for her, since I know of what she's capable.

I´ll never understand why she makes her eyebrows look so thin these days. She´s not the type for them. I love her natural one! She looked fantastic. Now she looks "plastic"

I like that one, but my all-time favorite from Mariah is definitely "Love Takes Time".
