I miss her. She could really sing - without oversinging - and she could do a wide range of material. I really consider her one of the better urban soul singers of the 90's, but one relative flop (More Than A Woman) and she's without a label. But Ashitty is on her 3rd album...HOW?

P.S. I've re-evaluated The Heat recently. It's a really great record, kind of works its groove into your subconscious, which is why I hadn't pounced on it right away. "Maybe" is a really underrated slow jam.

This might be the wrong forum...unless she's an outspoken damn liberal! And I think she was signed to Blackground, Alliyah's old label, and I heard there was supposed to be a record out last year...Hmmmm....

Actually,Toni does have a new record deal.She's currently working on a new CD as we speak,and it is being produced by Babyface.It will be released in early 2005.
