anyone remember this compilation CD? it's one of the first compact disks to be produced back in 1983 when the format was first introduced. it exists on vinyl and cassette too, but i recently stumbled on the CD at a pawn shop - cheap! all of bowie's RCA material is extremely rare on CD - they were only available for a few years before going out of print. i'm not sure how many titles were even available prior to the 1989 ryko reissues. anyone know?

hi - i had the golden years comp on vinyl - it was one of my favorite discs in my early "intro to bowie" days. it's got a great sampling of his late '70s material.

i started collecting bowie stuff, mostly on vinyl, right before the ryko reissues started coming out. i had a couple of bowie albums on RCA CDs, but they had just gone out of print at the time and all the wrecka stows were marking them up ridiculously before the reissues were released. i got a copy of "low" on RCA CD, and i remember having a chance to get "changesone" and "changestwo" on CD, but i passed 'em up. GRRR!!!
