pleasantly suprised by gwen stefani's album

After finally getting my head around WYWF and having just purchased the album, based on a first listen I can safely say it's thouroughly enjoable from start to finish.

The obvious standout is a song called "the real thing", unsuprisingly as it features Wendy and Lisa, along with Peter Hook and Bernard Summer (half of New Order).

This simply must be released as a single!

Anyone familiar with New Order, one of my all time favourite bands, will notice this track immediatly. To quote The Independant newspaper review, "Real Thing is Gwen fronting New Order".

And as Rolling Stone put it "anyone who can get New Order on the same track as Wendy and Lisa ("Real Thing") is some kind of visionary.

I'm picking this up on the 23rd. I'm not even gonna download it to preview, it sounds that good.
