I just saw a clip yesterday of his AMA performance in 1980. He lip synched "Rock With You". I don't know why he lip synchs on awards shows. Even way back then.

Anything that Dick Clark produces usually features lip syncing...

    *American Bandstand
    *American Music Awards
    *New Year's Rockin' Eve

Mike never has enjoyed touring, the only good part for him being seeing all his fans in one place. All his tours pre Victory, then Bad and Dangerous were 100% live. Im not sure if this History Notion of lip syncing is totaly lagit, but when you are a dancer, it makes it much easier, especialy for a guy who hates touring.

That's the problem with him. He needs to tour to get his career back in order, i mean it's his job and his specialty is performing.
Maybe Invincible would have sold better had he toured with the album

Imagine, LIVE DVDs of...

The Jacksons 1981 Triumph Tour
The Jacksons 1984 VICTORY TOUR
MJ - 1987/1988 - BAD TOUR
etc...

That's what I'd like to see and also the performances from "The Mike Douglas Show", the "Cher" show, I also think they were on "Dinah Shore", the "Soul Train" tribute episode to the Jacksons, "Motown 25th Anniversary", the "Can You Feel It" music video, and the various awards shows performances from the 70s and early 80s.
Andy is a four letter word.
