The Many Facets of Roger is good. I would actually just get their greatest hits if I were you because it has all the good stuff.

The greatest hits are good, both volumes 1 and 2, but the songs are edited. My personal favorite Zapp song is "Dance Floor" from the Zapp II album. I love the album version when the song breaks down and the hand claps echo. On the greatest hits album that part is edited out.

The greatest hits volume 1 is a must have though, for the megamix alone. biggrin

The sound on Zapp IV is a bit more "computerized" than on the previous albums, still it's a good CD with a couple of superb tracks definetly worth checking out. Still I prefer the first three Zapp and two Roger albums over Zapp IV.

As someone else said before, Greatest Hits I is a very good starting point, cause it contains (mainly editet and shorter versions) of lots of their best jams. Greatest Hits II is worth getting even if you have ALL the other albums, it contains MANY tracks that are not available on regular Zapp albums!

Once you've worked your way through Zapp and Roger you can also check out various side projects & spin offs like The Human Body, solo albums by Shirely Murdock, Bobby Glover, Roger productions on Sugarfoot (from Ohio Players) and probably a few others that slip my mind right now.

Enjoy the trip! biggrin
