OK i'm listening to her new song right now and it sounds nothing like her! It sounds like Kylie Minogue! DId she finally decide to take voice lessons??? LOL. By the way it's a good song.

I remember when I was in Italy, "Mi Chico Latino" was the only thing on the radio I heard and I had no idea it was Geri Haliwell until I saw the video. Actually, as far as I can remember, only Melanie C and Geri's first albums were the only ones released offically in America. Geri's did poorly (they only released "Look At Me" as single, but why not anything else?) but Melanie's didn't even show up on the map but was highly praised by the press.

I just heard "Ride It". Sounds just like Kylie. I hope Geri keeps some of her Ginger self in this album. Pretty surpring that the album went gold at all (shipped out copies or not) considering all promotion seemed to end after the release.

As for Emma's album coming out in America, Amazon still lists only an import verison (with a very hefty regular price of $39.99 for a European import but a good used price of $9.99). Damn Billboard, getting people's hopes up!

I love her because she's a tryer. She's ten-times more camp than Kylie. Kylie's campness is sort of arty and arch whereas Geri's is subconcious.

Did you all see her cameo in Sex & The City? I'd love to see her in a John Waters movie.
