Is anyone surprised that his ego isn't huge? But it has to be and it should be.I'm not saying ppl should be jerks, but he nees that ego to be the face and voice of one of the biggest bands in music history. And I'm sure he has bad moments like we all do,but he seems to care about people by his actions and words.Hell,I have a big ego and I haven't done shit!

he should...stick to making music , he's not a politician ,who does he think he is anyway !

well i'm guessing you have never written a letter to your congressman, president, or other government official. i'm guessing you have never been a part of an organization such as amnesty int'l or greenpeace some other human interest group. i'm also guessing you've never expressed your dislike or dissatisfaction or satisfaction, for that matter, regarding your own government's policies. this is the only way i could even begin to fathom such an ignorant and uninformed statement.

if bono as some idiot without a thought in his head, i would completely agree with you. i mean, i don't want political insight from britney spears or alec baldwin. fortunately, he is one of the very few public personas who has a firm grasp on international foreign policy. he's actually done the legwork on all of the issues he speaks on. he doesn't merely make a blanket statement and then get back to his life. politics have most certainly been a part of his life for years. that's exactly why politics have played such a large part in u2's music.

I couldn't agree with you more. I can't stand U2's current output, but I respect the work Bono has done in Africa. He even (very fairly) singled Dubya out for praise in that area. I can't stand Coldplay either, but Chris Martin went out to Haiti for Oxfam. More power to them both.
There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently
