Wow, what could be his reasons for holding back? It seems like he would have made this album really special since it was his first in a couple of years.

Do you guys still feel that he has it?

Prince has always had it, but he has a thing for not wanting to repeat himself that can be a burden. He pretty much abandoned his Minneapolis sound which he created for many years after the 80's. He turned away from his "Purple Rain" success. He seems to be clueless as to how great "SOTT" was/is. He should look back and say, "What have I done that is really great" and try his best to be inspired enough to create at those heights again.

I've always felt that EnVogue were holding back. I wish they would've covered some kick-ass Labelle cut like "Messin' with My Mind" or something.
