New New Order album

from www.neworderonline.com:

New album confirmed for February 2005
Nov 12, 2004 - 5:24:26 AM

(C4 Teletext) According to Channel 4's teletext, New Order's new album will be released in February.

The follow up to 2001's Get Ready is mostly produced by Stephen Street, with other song done by John Leckie and Franz Ferdinand cohort Tore Johansson.

Planet Sound understands the band also worked with Kylie and Girls Aloud producer Brian Higgins on some songs, but that these weren't finished in time for the as-yet-untitled album. Meanwhile, Moby has covered Temptation for his new LP.

moby's doing a cover of "temptation" for his new album? that's interesting.

i'm looking forward to the new order album - to be honest though, i'm still digesting their last one (yeah, go figure) and i'm still taking in the box set...i haven't even listened to the live disc or the remixes disc yet! redface

The live isn't super essential, but a lot of those remixes are really good.

And the b-sides from their last album are suberb! Some of the best songs from the whole project.

Did your box set come with the bonus 5th disc?

If not, I have some Christmas goodies I'm rounding up for you. wink

I loved it straight away and still listen to it a lot. But my brother had the same trouble with it. He hates Bernard's singing on that album. I don't know why. He sounds the same as he always did. shrug
