Robert Randolph & the Family Band I am just jamming out to some Robert Randolph & the Family band. Had to get there CD. I saw them in Sept in Aspen CO. They were awesome.
I felt bad for them, they were playing to a bunch of white yuppy snow skiers. There were some youngins partying down, they were there to see CAKE perform but they enjoyed RRFB too. It was funny to watch some of the white guys trying to dance and get down & funky. My husband knows better then to try to dance, he doesn't have the funk in him like I do. I had fun dancing and getting funky with Robert Randolph & the Family Band. I hope they come to Florida again soon, they were here a while back but we did not go see them, Damn!!! Next time we will go, as long as my husband promises not to dance! Anyone else out there RRFB fans?? | |

They are pretty cool. I remember hearing them on the Grammy's. They are kinda remide me of Sly & Family Stone alittle bit. | |

I haven't been able to get into their latest album, but I like what they bring to the table in terms of being what people least expect from a Black band. This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes. | |
