Britney's "I've just begun (having my fun) is a brilliant tune

Britney Spears
I've Just Begun (Having My Fun)

Here is a little story that I made up
So Let's make believe
Four years ago I had a party
that was too much fun for me
Boy there's a sexy guy
He'd surely give me everything I need
Sometimes I let temptation go too far
and get the best of me
All I gotta say is
I just wanna have some fun
And I'll do it until I'm done
I'm telling you
I'm just a crazy kind of girl
I'll tell it to the world
I've just begun having my fun
Inside me there's something I found
I wanna shop around
I just begun
Don't wanna settle down
The conversation was going over 'til I turned my hair
He started touching me and kissing me
Like he didn't care
I thought at first I should go home
But then fell asleep in the chair
All I gotta say is
I just wanna have some fun
And I'll do it until I'm done
I'm telling you
I'm just a crazy kind of girl
I'll tell it to the world
I've just begun having my fun
Inside me there's something I found
I wanna shop around
I just begun
Don't wanna settle down
I'm just a crazy kind of girl
I'll tell it to the world
I've just begun having my fun
Inside me there's something I found
I wanna shop around
I just begun
Don't wanna settle down
I just wanna have a good time
I just wanna be myself
And don't let anybody tell you it's any differantly
I wanna enjoy the sunshine
And do the things that I need
To see what feels good to me
I'm just so crazy
I'm just a crazy kind of girl
I'll tell it to the world
I've just begun having my fun
Inside me there's something I found
I wanna shop around
I just begun
Don't wanna settle down
I just begun
I just begun
having my fun
I just begun
Having my fun, yeah!

Even if you hate Britney this is a great song. Go buy "My Prerogative" NOW
This is one of the generous 3 new tracks Britney has offered

In the dark of night, when I'm all alone, had few alcholic beverages and I'm sure no1 is watching...I may have bobbed my head 2 that try while denying that I might like it.

there should be a law that the words britney and brilliant should not be used in the same sentence.

I have had this song for almost a year now! I didnt know it was something that no Britney fan never knew of.

Anyway, it's not all that. Sounds like a left-over from the "Britney" album.

It sounds way too close to "Hella Good" that's probably why she discarded it.

Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Britney. Brilliant. Two words you don't see in the same sentence everyday.

To be honest, it represents No Doubt.

What about "Do Somethin'" (she sounds just like Gwen Stefani when she says "Why don't you do something" and it has sort of ska thing going on). That's my least favorite of the new songs. I think "Just Begun" has some elements of "Hella Good" but also has some euro dance elements that make it sound different enough from No Doubt. It works but to be honest, I love "My Pregogative". Forgive me all the haters of this song. I think it's stupid to make that part of the title though.

Yeah the song reminds me of No Doubt's "Hella Good". I like the song "Do Somethin" better though. Britney can't seem to find her own style. From Janet to Madonna to Gwen, she likes to rip people off.

Actually, her first two albums kind of had a signature sound (courtesy of Max Martin) but it wasn't very good (good for a few singles here and there but I tried to listen to my sister's Britney CDs and thought they were a joke). It was with "Britney" that she sort of broke into a really sexy carefree image the songs were not about teenage love but more about lust. Those songs, while really good, sounded a lot like Janet's album "All For You" but with a slight euro pop. I really didn't care for "In The Zone" besides "Toxic", "Breathe On Me" and sometimes I dig "Me Against The Music" but other than that, it was Britney trying to do every kind of pop single in order to appeal to as many people as possible but only a little bit and it was mess. And the new tracks, all done by the same producer as "Me Against the Music", just feel kind of boring and similar. I really like Britney, but I think she should seriously take some time off, do some real writing, start producing and wow people with a really smart pop record. I beat she'll surprise us (and something tells me that she won't be married anymore, so she'll have lots to write about).
