The thing that started me as a Miki Howard fan is her cool rendition of Billie Holiday's "I Cover The Waterfront" in Malcolm X's movie,,,,,as Billie Holiday! I'm from the Mikie Howard/Angela Winbush/Vesta/Mel'isa Morgan/Regina Belle/Stephanie Mills breed of listeners. Its a shame those sistas didn't have the same back-up as Mariah & Whitney.
