"Love Is Strange" and "Pillow Talk"

Did you know Sylvia Robinson sang both songs? The first one was the team of Sylvia and Mickey and it was featured in the movie "Dirty Dancing." "Pillow Talk" came out around the mid-70's and was a major hit. Now she is more known for forming the Sugar Hill Gang and starting the record label. I wanted to focus more on her body of work. I was so surprised when I finally realized that those two songs were recorded by her. Are there other artists or musicians that have a body of work that crosses decades that you have been surprised by when you find out they are by the same artist?

Sylvia can also be heard on a lengthy Ghostface skit.. "The Letter (Skit)" on The Pretty Toney Album.

I have a UK compilation of the best of Sylvia, and have heard her Pillow Talk album.

Fave cuts: "Next Time That I See You" & "Pussycat"
