I only know his greatest hits cd, which I really like!

I can tell you that his 1st album with the Power Station is really a great one (If you like rock-pop music) You'll probably know Some like it hot, and maybe Get it on (a T-rex cover, which really rocks)
Nice if you can get that one! If you do, please let me know what you think of it?

the beautiful ones, you always seem to loose

"Riptide" was his biggest seller - includes "I Didn't Mean To Turn You On", "Addicted To Love", "Hyperactive" and the title track.

You might also want to check out "Heavy Nova" (includes "Simply Irresistible" and "She Makes My Day") and perhaps "Don't Explain" after that.

Pick up "Live at the Apollo", it may be an import because it took a few weeks to receive it via Amazon but it has a mix of everything and I never get sick of it.

I miss Robert Palmer.

I have Power Station's "Some Like It Hot" and Robert Palmer's "Addicted To Love" on compilation CDs. I love everything I've heard of Robert Palmer over the radio for years. I've been meaning to pick up some of his albums but he is another artist that always slips my mind when I'm in the record store looking for jams that I don't already have.

That album with 'Bad case of loving you (doctor, doctor)' and 'Can we still be friends' on it,is quite good..
Can't remember if "best of both worlds" is on there too...
I liked "Looking for clues" too, with 'Johnny and Mary' on it...

the robert palmer album that i always return to is "sneakin' sally through the alley". it was released in the 70's, and has a very 70's sound, and so you may not care for it, but it is the greatest.

OTAN turned me on to this album and it is truly great. I had a hard time finding it because it's his first one but it was worth the effort (thanks Amazon).

His band was the Meters on this album and it's southern-fried funk and soul that has to be heard if you are a fan of Mr. Palmer.
