Everyday is Halloween - Ministry

I heard this song last week at a Halloween party. Anyone remember this relic from the 80s? It was before Ministry went hardcore and was a HUGE dance hit at the time. This song was a staple at Medusa's (any Chicagoan over 30 should remember this club...it was THE hang out for the under 21 crowd in the 80s).

God! what an awesome song. I dusted my 12" remix after hearing it last week...I can't stop playing it. Does anyone know if it ever came out on CD?

I loved it when they (The radio station)used that song to promote the Mind is a Terrible thing to Taste tour. Even better was when the hair hoppers left becasue there was no Bop Be Bop Bop song.

Great concert though...mired just a touch by Jello Biafra's ramblings ala "LARD"

"I live with snakes and lizards and other things that bump in the night
but to me everyday is halloween
you look so absurd you look so obscene oh
why cant I live a life for me..."

great song. Listen to Interpols "Take you on a Cruise" and notice the similarities.

I just love it cos it's so different than where they ended up. I came of age post-stigmata and I about fell over when I learned that 'Halloween' was by Ministry.

Man, I got some good memories of them at Lollapalooza, that was one of the maddest pit experiences I ever had...

Same here. When they began playing "Supernaut" I lost all control. People had better look out!

About as old as I am. I got into Wax Trax during my senior year in college--Acid Horse, RevCo, 1000 Homo DJs, etc. It's funny how half of the Wax Trax catalog was Al Jourgensen in disguise.

OMG Becky! The first time I was in there, I saw a school mate of mine (gay but unbeknowest to me at the time) and he was there to buy Ms Divine as well. I had no idea who Devine was at the time. Had I, I would have known he was gay.

Yeah the pit was freekin madness. We saw someone who we came with fling himself onto the chainlink fence and hang there til Al kicked him off. I have heard other accounts of other friends getting knocked in the face with a boot. Good times.
