There are a few songs on this UNFINISHED ALBUM that I think sound a lil' weak, but as I also heard some of the REAL album, I know they made up for that.

But the overall sound is strong. With loads of OOMPFH! I like the return of the OOMPFH! (EDGE/CLAYTON!)Anyone who says this band can't play is out of my book. Clayton is a god on this album. Or Captain Crunch.

the old U2 here. Unforgettable Fire
stuff and such.

It sounds amazing as an album imo.
It's a perfect mix to me of the
old U2 and the 1990-2000 U2.

The guitars and the bass sounds just
absolutely fucking good.

If you like U2 you'll love this

I hate old U2, but I loved the 1990-1997 version. I'll buy it. If I hate it I'll blame you, Ike.

Careful, you might not like this then.

Its much more "All You Can't Leave Behind" than "Achtung Baby". They seem to be heading back to their basics.

That said, I love it. Its a simple album, and thats what I love. Possibly a few too many ballads, but a great solid rock album.

Its got a lot of hits on it, with "Original Of The Species" crying out to be the mid tempo king.
