Here's one of the "newer" stories that has been changed to make it look like she wanted out of her contract. The original articles that appeared last week cited very poor sales of her latest record and its failure to go platinum as the reasons.

That's a cute story! I just remember being on a 'trip to the city' (Edmonton, Alberta) with my family and I was watching a brand new video on Muchmusic... "I Wanna Be Down" and just thought that beat was the hottest.. and I bought it that day when we went to West Edmonton Mall.

Then I got to enjoy the album as each new video came out... "Baby" was probably my favorite.. she was styled so cool (for the time) in that one.

What else did that Keith Crouch produce, because I remember reading his credits.

One of my favorite productions by Keith is on Boys II Men's Evolution album...a song called "Baby C'mon." He also produced songs for CeCe Winans, Tevin Campbell, Toni Braxton, Debra Cox and Kenny Lattimore. There's no way this track will see the light of day on a Brandy album. The "Cinderella" SDTK was not released because neither Disney (the makers of the film), Atlantic (Brandy's label) or Arista (Whitney's label) would come to an agreement on who should host the SDTK, so the whole project was scrapped.




Now, that's a stretch.

I thought "U Don't..." was a strech because it didn't do very well on the charts and sort of came out when the promotion seemed like it was at the end for the album...and then out of nowhere this single comes out.
