[b]1. U Will Know - Black Men United I remember that track. And I remember its estrogen counterpart on the PANTHER soundtrack called "Freedom."

Jeeez
This transports me straight back to 1994... just prior D'Angelo's solo debut... If I am correct Black Men United was written by D'...

that was a good soundtrack.....I liked the BMU track that was nice, Jamecia's "Rodeo Style" was hot, "Walk away" from Da 5 Footaz still love them girls, "Brother's & Sistas" Jayo Felony was tight holding it down for San Diego however I prefer the explicit version of this song. J.Quest "Up and down" was nice, and Oleata Adams "Many river's to cross" was very touching. I am not African. Africa is in me, but I cannot return.
I am not taína. Taíno is in me, but there is no way back. I am not european. Europe lives in me, but I have no home there. I am new. History made me. My first language was spanglish. And I am

Man, this takes me back....
This soundtrack was definitely in the top five of the wave of 90s soundtrack albums. I used to play "Jesse James" on repeat - and I bet "U Will Know" would still give me goosebumps to this day. And yes, Cookie, "U Will Know" was written (and produced, I believe) by a then-unknown D'Angelo. The Normal Whores Club

Cool soundtrack. I've got some not-so-fond memories of the song "Candy Man" and a bottle of Everclear.
