On the Waterfront & Beat It

I was watching On the Waterfront, Marlon Brando's classic.

There is a scenewhere he bursts into a bar to confront some people, and I thought "I've seen this before."

It looked just like the shot from Beat It where Michael enters the bar and dances by the pool tables. I know the video should have reminded me of the movie and not the other way around, but I'm sure I'm not alone.

Anyone know if this is intentional? I know they were friends.

Hopefully we can start a debate about whether MJ is talented, sick, or better than Prince!haha

I read that Brando's son used to be Mikes security guard or something, so I'm sure both these people met before the "beat it" vid.....

well, i wouldnt be surpised....after all, the dancing from Beat It was taken from WestSideStory..

heck, mj's wardrobe from The Way You Make Me Feel was taken from Bernardo from WestSideStory....

a lot of mj, janet and madge was from old quality films..,..at least they had to respect and smarts to take from the old...

half the hacks today are ribing directly from mj, janet and madge which is whats resulted in such a dirth of interesting images in our current pop culture.....
