I wasn't a huge fan, but I think they had some great music.
I was just listening to SO ALIVE and thinking how the lead singer is not so alive and how said that is. He met such an untimely end.
Any followers of INXS know what happened there? How old was he when he died?
Was it drugs?

They were my favorite band as a kid until I discovered The Cure. Still have a soft spot for 'em.

Whatever the circumstances, it was a shame that a talented singer and performer died so soon.

I agree, some very good songs came from that group in a short period of time.

Yeah, I think he was just DEPRESSED. From the interviews that I've seen, Michael was MAJORly depressed because his girlfriend's ex-husband, Bob Geldolf(sp?) was trying to take her kids from her and Michael. He had just gotten in this HUGE argument with Geldolf right before the suicide. Obviously, Michael had a number of issues, but I thought he was a hottie and a good frontman.
