LES NUBIANS..!!who else loves them? I remember the first time hearing MAKEDA, that song blew me away as did their debut album, which featured production from SOUL 2 SOUL and THE ROOTS and sublime remake of "The sweetest taboo"
Their second album took a while to grow on me but when it did! It didn't leave CD player for a while...are their any non french speaking people who dig Les Nubians?? I heard they had a following in the states? . [Edited 11/4/04 4:04am] | |

I like them too have both of their CD's. Very nice indeed, great background music on the weekend. My 7 year old twin girls (Asia & Naima) love their music and can sing all of the songs and they don't speak a lick of french!!
So beautiful to see and hear them singing along with the music. Makes me remember that THAT is what MUSIC is all about!! | |

i just have their second cd, but yes I do like their music. The second cd is very breezy to me. It reminds me of the beach or a nice breezy evening right before the sun is about to go down and you are driving on the side of a mountain or through some trees on the highway. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince. | |
