Le Tigre Anyone into them? Is their new cd any good? By the way, is the person with the moustache a chick?

i dig le tigre
their new cd is okay, but it's nowhere near as good as their first two albums (not counting the two remix eps) the one with the moustache is indeed (or was indeed) female...i'm not sure what JD's story is - if she's a he now, if she's on her way to being a he, or if she just likes to look like a he for the sake of genderfuck. the vibe i get is that he/she doesn't like people knowing what his/her whole gender thing is about, but i could be wrong on that.

I saw Le Tigre when they played here in NY on Monday (11/1). It was one of the most fun shows I've ever been to. I agree their major label CD, 'This Island' isn't as good as their debut. Man, that first album kicked serious ass.
JD still considers herself a proud lesbian so she must still be a she. In concert you could clearly see her boobies were strapped down.

No, it's not necessarily bad at all. But look at Liz Phair.

I think Kathleen just wants to reach more people. In the October issue of Spin, she said she would be totally psyched is she heard their song on the radio.

i think it would be hot if le tigre went top 40 in the states, especially in this day and age. unfortunately, i don't think this album's gonna be the one to do it.
i hate to say it cuz i really love the girls, but - i'm just not feeling this one.

I was gonna go see them Saturday at First Ave. Half the attraction of that show was them being at the Ave. The venue they've been moved to is kinna crappy. So, I'm still debating on going.
I see sextonseven's opinion on this tour. Has anyone else been to it?
