You actually WENT to this show?? Man,you're so lucky. She only played a few dates in the U.S.!

I know. I only recently found out that it was a limited run. I had no idea at the time. I guess it makes up for her not playing here for the Reinvention tour. Any idea what the tour itinerary was for Girlie Show? I'd be interested to see where she played and when.

I really think she should have played more U.S. dates. That tour is better than 'Blonde Ambition' in my opinion and her U.S. fans would have ate it up.But yeah, consider yourself blessed because you're one of the few US fans that got to see it.

You know what,I just watched this DVD yesterday (for the millonth time) and I'm amazed at what a brilliant show it is! Fuckin' amazing!! The best thing about it is,Madonna is in such a FUN mood. She's smiling alot, joking around, and looks like she is having the time of her time. The interplay with her dancers is fun to watch too.And she has the BEST touring band of her career! Man,those guys can play! I love how several songs turn into long, funky jam sessions ("Deeper And Deeper","Holiday") and when Madonna launches into some of her favorite songs by other artists ("Everybody Is A Star" by Sly Stone..."After The Dance" by Marvin Gaye...."Just My Imagination" by the Temptations),I just go insane.

worship "The Girlie Show" rocks!
