Is this CD any good? Are there a lot of fast tracks? What is the general vibe?

I love the song "The Right Stuff". I don't have the album but I do have the song on a various artists album.

I don't remember hearing any other songs from the album. I've heard many of Vanessa's songs but the only other song of hers that I like is "Running Back To You" from another album.

General vibe: Decent, like wishuhvn said. It's mainly very 80'ies R&B & not very outstandin' 4 that era. Back then alot of music was worth listenin' 2. So I'd say get it if U can. 6 out of 11 R fast trax: Another single of the album was Dreamin' (I'm sure U'll remember this 1, tho U don't really like ballads).

My cut off this project was "Darlin' I". The ballad that got all the attention was "Dreaming", but it wasn't nearly as good IMO.

It was a good cd ctually my favorite from her library.

Not a bad record at all....'Dreamin' and 'Darlin I' are on it and they are both beautiful ballads.

Vanessa was always falling through the cracks because she was always sandwiched between Whitney, Janet and Mariah...but she was a great talent. Good songs, good voice...and a very honest outpouring of passion.
