Hi, my name is Lewis & I am an 18 year old, solo, funk/R&B musician from England. I have been playing 6 instruments including Drums, Bass, Guitar, Piano, Saxophone & vocals 4 15 years (since I was 3).

Thanks for sharing. I can hear your influences. I really liked the sample of Phunckibitch. A couple of the songs took me back to one of the bar/ restaurants in New Orleans' French Quarter.

My advice...don't copy Prince too much. Especially in the website and presentation. You got chops and your music sounds inspired, but just don't try to do exactly as he does. Your legitimacy is at stake.

Also, is the name The Cloud9 Mission a band, or what?

Also, Cloud9 looks and sounds like a discussion forum name, or email name.

Also the squigly logo...doesn't look like a logo. It looks like a squigly mark. Also comes across as 0{+> copy attempt.

Good luck but I think you can do better.

When Ive finished the section on the mission u'll see what I mean. Basically The Cloud9 Mission is about using music to inspire others to be happy despite their surroundings.

The logo has a little history to it. When I was little, my Grandad used to draw the letter L like that (almost) & so he would write my name (Lewis) with one of those at the front. Its not really a 0(+> copy but I do see where ur coming from but when I initially started the project, I wanted to remain annonymous as I'd had a lot of email abuse prior to that from people getting my email address. Sp I used the logo as my name for a while but I feel with its history that its a logo that describes part of me & the project.
