UMM?? How about we hear the album the first? Just because she is singing with rappers doesn't make her desperate it's her choice, there's lots of people out there who love her soul/hip hop sound. I like Mariah alot,but it seems that,these days,she's just making the same album over and over.With all of these guest rappers and the usual crop of trendy R&B producers,it all sounds like 'Glitter Soundtrack Part 2',or 'Charmbracelet:The Sequel'.

Mariah Carey might not be as hot as when she first came out, but she’s still hotter than when she first came out. Does that make sense to you? Anyway, the word is MC was slated to release her new album this winter. Yeah, she’s a 4th Quarter diva. Anyway, she’s been doing her thing and recording on an island like she normally does. Upon finishing it she turned the finished product to Island Def Jam chief LA Reid. The rumor says Reid heard it and scrapped the project. He said everything gotta go - tracks, producers and songs. On to of it all – it’s been pushed back. Well let’s look at it like this, Reid has a great pop track record. We trust that he’s gonna pull Mariah through this slump.

just hope that this one won't bomb like the roll she has been on for the past 6 years. It's amazing how 10 years ago she was hot and now she's not. I don't care what nobody say, any album she makes now won't be half as decent as the ones she made when she was sony.

Am I the only one who misses the days when artists used to go into the studio with only one producer or one production team? Remember Michael Jackson working with producer Quincy Jones? Or Aretha Frankin working with producer Luther Vandross? Or Donna Summer working with her reliable production duo of Giorgio Moroder and Pete Bellotte? Or the Ojays working with Gamble and Huff? The albums flowed better and were more consistent.Nowadays,the typical big-budget R&B/pop album uses a ton of different producers,with too many cooks in the kitchen.It all sounds like a bloated,glossy,cluttered,overproduced mess.


Mariah should lock herself into a studio with only ONE great producer....how about Remy Shand? Spend a few months with him,working on genuinely soulful tracks.When 12 great songs are finished,release it as her next album.DO NOT call up any silly rappers to spoil the songs.
