How is Ciara trying to be like Beyonce? That is something that I will never understand.

I think they are only similar in the fact that they are both generous donators to Clear Channel. "Goodies" doesn't sound very much like any of Beyonce's songs but "One Two Step" sounds just like "Goodies"! Also, Ciara's image (from what I saw in her first video) is pretty different from that of Beyonce's. I don't get it either. Probably just the fact that they are all female R&B singers with uptempo songs (not sure about Lohan).

Christina Milian: I can see similarities, but I can see those in J.Lo, Mariah Carey, and a lot of other female artists. shrug

Lindsay Lohan: Well I only saw a clip of the video...I'll give you that one. lol

Ciara: I still have not heard this girl's song or seen the video. neutral

when i say that they are trying to be like her, i mean as far as image and sound go but there is also a standard that seems to have been set by Miss knowles. When I read reviews on any r&b female artist, they will say things like "beyonce has nothing to worry about". meaning they are not as god as her because she's the queen of r&b or something.

by the way, how does Ashanti look with blonde hair?
