hey it's five o clock in the morning here...I've been up for 24 hours, stayed up all night for this event and i gotta go to work in two hours...cut me some slack here  It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis! | |

I really couldn't say cause i don't know what ur talking about...to me this is christmas newyear and my birthday all rolled into one, my biggest night in music. They just inducted Kris Kristofferson into the hall of fame so they can't be that bad. And it's a very welcome relief to see some real music get rewarded instead of other shows (coughmtvcough) that shower the likes p.diddy, jay-z end J.Lo with awards for the crap they put out (mho) [Edited 11/9/04 19:44pm] It was not in vain...it was in Minneapolis! | |

It actually focuses on music, and not on a whole lotta Puff Daddy crap. Sure, there are a few exceptions, and some crap gets rewarded, but on the whole its pretty damned good. Allison Krauss won an award, so I'm happy!

modern country music sucks about as hard as anything can possibly suck these days... i can't stand any of the acts on that list, and haven't heard any of the songs listed...  Mr. Ellis Dee-licious, the Official NPGigolo
