I was working in a guitar store in Montclair, N.J. last year. This guy wearing a three-piece suit walks in the store. Very lawyer-like and formal. He asks if he can check out one of the guitars. I say, "sure!". He proceeds to plug in and play "Over My Head" and a bunch of other King's X songs. We start talking and I find out that King's X is his favorite band. And he is actually a lawyer!
He proceeds to tell me some cool stories about attending some of their shows in NYC, all while burning it up on guitar with some serious Ty Tabor licks. He's good, but LOUD - so loud that one of the guitar teachers, who's in the middle of a lesson, has to tell him to turn it down... He checked his watch - had to get back to work. He shook my hand, and left the store. I never saw him again. That guy is forever known as "the funky lawyer" My author page: https://www.amazon.com/au...eretttruth

It's cool 2 hear that this band is still doing its thing. They haven't had an album out in a long time. I really dig this bad b/c they have killer vocals and strong instumentation going on. Also, I might add that the lead singer gives us ladies some good looks and guitar action. [Edited 10/30/04 23:19pm]
