Great music

D'Angelo is a great artist who sounds a bit like Prince, just like Bilal does. I'm a huge fan of Prince and Terence Trent D'Arby. I've got some musical suggestions for Prince fans, listen to Cody ChesnuTT (appeared on an album of The Roots), Amp Fiddler (former member of George Clinton's P-Funk all star Band and also played with Prince) and Terence Trent D'Arby (nowadays by the name of Sananda Maitreya his website = www.sanandapromotion.com/). Don't forget to listen to Bilal and D'Angelo. They all give a combination of Soul, Funk and Jazz, Terence Trent D'Arby throws in some Rock as well (just like Prince).

According to me Terence Trent D'Arby is one of the most underappreciated artists alive, he plays every instrument, writes his music and has a great voice.

His work so far:
Introducing the Hardline (1987)
Neither Fish Nor Flesh (1989)
Symphony or Damn (1993)
Vibrator (1995)
WildCard (2001)
Greatest Hits (2002)

D'Angelo and Terence Trent D'Arby are both recording their new album at the moment, Terence Trent D'Arby's new album is gonna be named Angels and Vampires.

Indeed it's a great song, but I must admit I like all his songs. My favourite's are Holding On To You from Vibrator and You Will Pay Tomorrow from my favourite TTD album Neither Fish Nor Flesh. Like the works he's doing now (Angels & Vampires) for as far I've heard them (part 1 and 2 are available on his site, part 3 is soon to come).

Im very impressed that TTD is going this route and giving his songs away to people who care about them. its nice to see an artist give away something for the Love of sharing the love of music, instead of putting it up for Monetary Gain.

Still I'll buy the Angels & Vampires album when it's out for I believe the artist has the right to earn money for his work (and because of the booklet lol ).

I agree, when he first gave away WildCard I was very surprised. It's great to see there are still musicians to whom money isn't the most important but to whom creating something new is.
