The "Temptations"

Let's give up for the "Temptations". These brothers were some of the baddest cat's though the 60's, and the 70's their harmonies and dance steps could not be touch. The orginal Lineup of: Otis Williams Eddie Kendricks David Ruffin Melivin Franklin and my personal favorite Paul Williams were the group every singing group wanted to be. They won their first grammy with their song "Cloud nine"(After David left the group and Dennis Edwards jonied.) In 1972 They had their biggest hit to date with "Papa was a rollin stone" which gave them their second grammy. In 1982 the original lineup went in the studio with Rick James and had a hit record "standing on the top" in 1985 David & Eddie recorded an album with Hall&Oates live at the Appollo theatre. In 1989 they were inducted in the Rock& roll hall of fame. Unfortunately four of the orginals members have passed on,but Otis Willams is touring and recording keeping the "Temptations" name alive.
