The songs are totally predictable. I swear this is the kind of "artist" that makes me sooooo glad I don't listen to radio or watch mtv. I had heard "Happy Ending" at work because sometimes they listen to the radio there. I had no idea that was her, I thought it was Vanessa Carlton! I think Avril's cool, for what she is, a kid. She's got my attention in the past, not through shakin' her booty, but coz she can fucking Rock. And she's got a beatiful voice. like i say i don't follow her, but some stuff i saw on T.V. with some friends one night we all agreed she was comparable to Joni Mitchell, not as an artist, but as a shit hot sounding voice. She's got more talent than so many other female singer's around, that you can't not notice her. Funnily enough when i saw she'd had a perm, and looked like a boofed up pussy doll i cringed. I like her naturalness, which will unfortunately be flogged out of Her by the promoter's who shape her.
