Prince & Sting 1986

This is the only pic I know of Prince playing with Sting in 1986... Anyone knows if there are other ones..... ?

If you do know...can you post them overhere?

In the book DMSR, it says that Prince played in a way that distract Sting from following him. Ron Wood chuckled at the scene becoz he said "he been through it b4 so he knows".

You could tell that good ol' Sting is feeling stingy in that pic too razz lol

so Ronnie Wood joined P onstage on at least 2 occasions...I saw footage of a concert from Camden Palace 1988, they were playing Miss You.

No problem. If I rememeber correctly, Prince played the song in a diffent key and possibly a slightly different time signature - on purpose, to 'throw' Sting. By all acounts, Sting found the whole thing an ordeal 2 get through! giggle

One of my tutors at college a few years back was an old friend of Sting's, and told me how he got that name - when he used 2 play gigs (pre Police days) in Newcastle, he would always show up wearing this bloody horrible yellow and black stripey jumper that made him look like a giant Bumble Bee. Someone nick named him Sting, it stuck, the rest is history.

My mum used to go and see Sting all the time when he wasn't sting and he just played at Pubs and stuff in Brighton cause she really liked him.
